Came here with my family while visiting my brother—delicious! We tried a bunch of their noodle dishes, the lamb skewers, and chicken stew. Great level of spice, and if that’s not your thing, most of the items on the menu can be made non-spicy upon request. The staff was very sweet, friendly, and accommodating. My favorite dish was our dessert—the honey cake. I wanted to order five pieces for myself after I tried it! It was so tasty & decadent, and it paired nicely with a subtle coffee ice cream on the side. It was also a great contrast with the flavors of the earlier entrees, and a wonderful end to the meal! Definitely want to revisit next time we’re here!

***Summary*** -High quality noodles (Jahunger Noodle, Original Meefen), lesser quality meats -Cute, flexible house-inspired interior with kind service/hospitality -Uyghur cuisine -Was in and out in 35 minutes ***By Dish*** 1) Jahunger Noodle (Entree) -Especially enjoyed the chewy, savory noodles. Had a strong onion flavor that could be a bit overpowering. Beef pieces were flavorful but tough and did not taste very fresh. 2) Original Meefen (Entree) -This dish was my sneaky favorite of the day. Expecting a mushier texture, the gluten-free rice noodles were soft, fresh, with a subtle chewiness. I loved the chili oil taste and appreciated the added texture of the crispy soybeans. The minced chicken was not the feature of this dish, but still soaked up the flavor well. 3) Lamb Samsa (Appetizer) -While this looked appetizing, the dish lacked flavor and overall, the theme of lesser quality meats showed itself once again. It helped to dip the samsa into the Original Meefen chili oil!

I really loved it here. Definitely would come back. Don’t recommend it here for anyone who doesn’t like spicy. We ordered the Kavap 羊肉串 (lamb skewers) as a starter and had Three Peppers 三椒干煸鸡 and then Jahunger Noodles 嘉罕戈炒面. All of them were a bit spicy but the Three Peppers one they warned us that it would be really spicy. Definitely right but it’s SO good with a great flavor but definitely has a kick to it. We saw another table order the Chicken Stew which looked excellent. Would probably come back for that. It’s a large shareable pot. The entryway is a little odd and there seems to be an upstairs area for seating as well. Cute plants and stuff downstairs. Adorable tea cups. The waitstaff was nice and they have a small wine list. Menu is online which I don’t usually love but it was fine.

Absolutely delicious and interesting spicy food that would be hard to find anywhere else local. Charming if small seating area. Service was quick and prompt and staff was very friendly if a bit overworked from the demand. I would recommend the Kavap and the Meefan.

Very nice Uyghur restaurant. I cannot judge the authenticity, as I haven't been to that region, but it's mostly spicy home made fresh pasta based dishes. All we had was delicious and unusually flavoured. The interior is nice and cozy, the service can be a bit quirky.

This place is outstanding. I tried 4 different dishes all were wonderful. Lamb dumplings - were solid. Nice way to start the meal. Lamb On Dry Land - it’s came with pita the lamb was very tender and had so much flavor. Jahunger Noodle - I really liked this dish the noodles were noodles and had a great chew. Meefen - loved the Szechuan spice that leaves your lips a numbing tingling sensation. This dish was huge. Easy enough for 2. I would ABSOLUTELY come back.

Highly recommend this place for authentic Uyghur food. I have never had it before and was very curious. I love Sichuan food, but I know it isn’t the same. Small main dining space, but I believe they have more space up stairs. Their menus are really creative and I loved the look. They don’t take reservations so there might be a little wait depending when you come. Their hand pulled noodles are fantastic and so nice and chewy. They also have dishes that aren’t spicy if that is not your thing. I loved their Jahunger noodles. I ordered it as is and it wasn’t very spicy, but very flavorful. It was a comforting dish. I think you can get it spicier though which is what I normally like. Ding Ding noodles were very unique and haven’t had something like it before. The noodles are cut into very small pieces and all the meat and vegetables are also diced very small. The vegetables were lightly cooked so they were still crunchy and had a fresh taste. This wasn’t spicy as well. Lamb dumplings were very succulent and delicious. Maybe a little expensive for the quantity but I enjoyed it. Comes with a unique dipping sauce that was more vinegary than the spicier Chinese chili oil that I’m used to. I don’t typically get a dessert at a restaurant unless that is what they are known for but I would highly recommend the honey cake. It was so good! I also thought the proportions were perfect. I had an appetizer and dessert and didn’t have leftovers, but was just perfectly full and not feeling like I ate too much. I’ll be sure to try some other dishes that are spicier next time I’m in town. Be aware parking can be a little difficult. There is no parking lot and it is all street parking. I recommend finding a side street nearby. I was able to find a spot very close by on Armstrong Ave on a Saturday night.

Really lovely little eatery! Had heard lots of good reviews so came in with high expectations and this did not disappoint! Got the laghman noodles (hand pulled noodles with bell pepper, mushroom, tomato and beef). Loved the texture of the noodles and the portion size was great (even had extra to take home). Also lamb dumplings were so succulent and delicious! Friends had the original meefen and also said that was good. Service was friendly and quick. Also got the honey cake with coffee ice cream to go- incredible and so decadent!
